While in Kuala Lumpur, MD and I visited the Sri Maha Mariaumann Temple Dhevasthanam, a colourful temple tucked into a bustling street near Chinatown. The temple is the oldest Hindu temple in KL, built in 1873 and was actually a private family shrine for many years before it was opened to the public in the 1920s.
