To be honest, I didn’t do a lot of grocery shopping during my stay in Havana. However, NM and I happened upon a grocery store in Miramar, and it was a fascinating experience. Most of the shelves held one brand of an item, but the item would fill that entire section. There were a lot of empty shelves. There were limited branded items from Mexico, but otherwise, it was a pretty limited selection. The pictures tell the story better than I can.
