While in Singapore, I made sure to visit the famous Gardens by the Bay, the horticultural extravaganza built on reclaimed land. The outdoor gardens, including the iconic Supertree Grove, is free to the public. But if you want to go into the Cloud Forest or Flower Dome or to walk across the walkway that connects some of the Supertrees seven stories in the air, you have to pay. In my opinion, the cost of entry to both greenhouses is totally worth it. It won’t surprise you that I did not pay extra to walk among the Supertrees because that looks nuts. The next few posts will detail my whole visit.

I started my visit to the Gardens with a bento lunch at one of the cafes. Then I headed straight into the Cloud Forest. The greenhouse gas a man-made mountain and waterfall, and the whole space is covered with flora.
