My next stop at the Jurong Bird Park was at the Lovely Lorry aviary. If I have a spirit animal (or believed in such a thing), it would be the lorikeet. I could watch these colorful birds all day.
The Lorry enclosure is huge, but right as I walked in, I saw a whole line of the lorries enjoying a late lunch. The aviary sells food you can offer to the birds, but I decided to take a lap first. By the time I got back to the food station, a little girl and her dad were feeding the birds, and I didn’t want to steal her thunder.
It’s hard to describe the colors on these birds. As always, these photos have not been color corrected – they really are that vibrant!
